The Dialogue Place Command Centre

Historical Note: This is the core leadership of the first team of ministers in Community of Christ to hold zoom based weekly meetings for 6 years that included the first web based expression of the church’s sacraments. A monthly Communion Service with appropriate prayers conducted by priesthood leaders was held over the web for several years until the Apostle Susan Oakley asked that it be discontinued in order to allow the World Church leadership to determine if and how sacraments would be administered over the Web.

Web Site Declaration
This is an advocacy website. It advocates for
1) the creation of a definition of interpersonal unions that will clearly indicate what unions are moral and what unions are immoral
2) a statement that explains the principles and values which guide officials within the Community of Christ (and are suggested for other interested organizations) when determining if a person's behavior within the context of an interpersonal union is moral or immoral
3) a change in the present processes by which the Community of Christ deals with removing ministerial licenses.
It is important to be aware that this website is advocating for an administrative restatement of the Community of Christ policies in respect to interpersonal unions in Canada.
The advocacy results from direct experiences in which within the judgment of the web site supporters listed below that individuals have been unnecessarily embarrassed, humiliated, discouraged (and perhaps have had their human rights under Canadian law ignored) by official actions of administrators of the Community of Christ that were not necessary under the present Church Administration Handbook statements and were not warranted under the present cultural circumstances of the Canadian church and Canadian society.
